Nid des Pecles
Story

Nest Building

A centuries-old farm converted to three modern mountain dwellings – with love

The Nid des Pecles story began in 2016 with the owners and developers Sean & Mette looking for a Chamonix home to settle as a family. It was love at first sight for the Rytola farm sitting in the middle of an untouched field in Chamonix, an extremely rare find. Renovation of the main Rytola farm started in November 2017, and was completed in May 2019. Phase 2 construction of Chalet Choucas and Chalet Kea began in November 2020 and concluded in 2022 now forming a true nest of 3 chalets. Rytola is local dialect for Roitelet (Goldcrest) inspiring the other two chalet bird names, and the hamlet being named Nid (Nest) des Pecles after the area.
