Hiking, mountainbiking. trailrunning, rockclimbing, alpine climbing, via ferrata, the list goes on. Stunning walks offer easy access to water falls, rockpools and mountain lakes, and picturesque mountain huts offering wholesome meals for the hungry hiker. Back in the valley, town also offers endless possibilities for Al Fresco dining with stunning views on balmy summer nights.

It was a town before it was a ski resort, which really shows and means there is something to enjoy for everyone on the rest day or two off the mountain. The charming, historic pedestrian center is alive with shops, restaurants and bars. Chamonix has a fun aprés-ski scene with live music, and top DJs often playing sets at La Folie Douce and Les Caves.
